Easily Reachable

we ARE located in the heart of Old Amsterdam

Shuttle service: A paid shuttle service is available from 06:00 hours to 21:00 hours. You can only take the Connexxion shuttle bus from the airport to the NH Carlton Hotel. From here walk towards Rembrandtplein within 5 minutes. On the Rembrandtplein go right to the Thorbeckeplein. The hotel is on your right hand side on the corner Thorbeckeplein and Herengracht. One way tickets are approximately €16,- both ways €26,-.
By Train: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 A.M. to 00:30 A.M.
By Tram 4 and 14: to Travel from Amsterdam Central Station to the VETERAN, you can take the GVB tram lines 4 or 14. These trams operate frequently, with a journey time of approximately 6 to 10 minutes.
By Metro M52 or M54: you Can take the metro from Amsterdam Central Station (M52 or M54) and get off at Waterlooplein. From there, it's only about a 5-7 minute walk to the VETERAN. This option could save some time if you prefer a short metro ride.
Parking: Paid parking is available at 2 min from hotel. Please keep in mind parking is costly in Amsterdam!; P+R (Park&Ride) is the best place to park for visitors to Amsterdam. These are car parks on the outskirts of the city where it is easy to transfer to public transport. It costs € 8.00 for 24 hours only.
